By accessing or using EuroTakeHome (the “Service”), located at eurotakehome.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EuroTakeHome provides a free, browser-based gross-to-net salary calculator for Germany. The Service computes estimated net salaries based on publicly available German tax rates and social security contribution rates for the selected tax year.

3. Not Financial or Tax Advice

The calculations provided by EuroTakeHome are estimates only and do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. They are based on simplified models that may not reflect your individual tax situation, employment contract, or applicable deductions. Tax law is complex, changes frequently, and varies based on personal circumstances.

You should consult a qualified tax advisor (Steuerberater) or the relevant German tax authority (Finanzamt) before making financial decisions based on any calculation. EuroTakeHome accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on the output of the calculator.

4. Accuracy of Information

We strive to keep the tax parameters and calculation logic up-to-date. However, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the information provided. German tax legislation changes annually; calculation results may differ from your actual payslip.

5. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate bulk requests to the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
• Misrepresent the source of calculation results (e.g. presenting them as official government figures).

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and branding on EuroTakeHome are the property of the operator (see Impressum) or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Links and Advertising

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and display advertisements served by Google AdSense. These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control. EuroTakeHome is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites or advertisers.

Some links on the site may be affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence the calculator results or editorial content.

8. Limitation of Liability

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law provisions. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is the registered place of business of the operator, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory protective provisions of the law of the country in which you are habitually resident.
